As Owners of Blue Planet Plumbing, LLC, Georg Efird and Miranda Wildman have been self-employed in the plumbing business for over a decade. They owned and operated a company called A2Z Plumbing and Gas piping Inc. from 2002-2010 and after an extensive growth spurt, downsized the company and changed the name to Blue Planet Plumbing LLC to represent their core values up front. Both Georg and Miranda have had a love for the outdoors since they were young, so it is was natural for them to steer their plumbing company based out of Asheville in the direction of using environmentally friendly plumbing practices. Georg has followed through with his dream to own and operate a green plumbing company in many ways, including collaborating with local officials and contractors to have the reclamation of grey water become legal per code in Buncombe county. He also became an accredited green plumbing company through Green Plumbers ™ USA. Entering the Plumbing trade at 17 years old, now 37 years old, he has devoted 2/3 of his life to the plumbing trade. Georg says, "Plumbing is a skill that I am very passionate about. I became licensed by the state of North Carolina with a class 1 plumbing and gas piping unlimited license at 26 years old. It was at this point where I started to earn my MBA from the School of Hard Knocks. For the next 11 years we generated millions in plumbing sales and gained invaluable training for being successful in the green plumbing business, educated clients, and designed hundreds of water conserving systems; I would not trade those experiences for anything." With over 20 years of plumbing experience Georg is well versed in all aspects of plumbing, gas piping and green plumbing systems. Plumbing is what Georg does and he does it well!
